Industrial Distribution Ranks DXP 16 in 2019’s Big 50 top North American Distributors

Industrial Distribution magazine has placed DXP at number 16 on its yearly Big 50 list of North American Industrial Distributors, jumping up four spots from placing twentieth in 2018.

The publication noted our 20.8% sales increase from 2017 to 2018, with organic sales up 16.1%, and highlighted our Innovative Pumping Solutions division for its 43% revenue increase.

DXP has come a long way since its founding as “Southern Engine and Pump Company” back in 1908. By the strategic acquisition of a diverse group of innovative companies, we’ve managed to stay on the leading edge of the MRO industry while providing the best solutions for the industrial customer.

The Big 50 are determined by their most recent full-year worldwide sales numbers generated by their North American operations. The 2018 sales stats were gathered from public annual and quarterly reports and were self-reported for privately-held enterprises.

DXP currently sits between F.W. Webb at number 15, and Kaman Distribution who ranked 17.
